i went for the 2 course instead of the 3 course. saved cost £19 total. not sure if that was the right choice though lol
Great deal for £20! I always get a couple as they are so handy to have, just booked a table for the one in London Victoria - bargain. I have also previously for the Taste of Italy Smartbox one as it can be used in Prezzo and Zizzi and is valid for 24 months (£29.99).

Not going there anymore, food menu became very limited in last few years plus the service is in decline. Rather go to Zizzi, where you have lovely service and much more choices on the menu.

Just been shopping, and yes this is still going. They must've only just put a new box out because he shelf was full.
Yes it's still going, but they always seem to sell out really quickly. Order more maybe? :p
I tried it this morning and it does scan through as the meal deal. Says the offer runs until 17th July.

Edited By: l0gan_5 on Jun 07, 2017 11:30
Sugar isn't all equal, just like all fats aren't.
The benefit of fruit over other 'food' items such as crisps/sweets/chocolate is that even if you think 'all sugar is sugar' if you eat fruit over the above at least you get other nutrients that are non in the other dead 'foods'.
Simply put I'm confident a piece of fruit is always going to be better than sweets/crisps or chocolate for you.
People need to self educate as your body is the most important thing any being ever 'owns'
It's a shame innocent pasteurise their drinks I believe.
I tried to get this deal but it didn't work for me a week or so ago when I want to the self checkouts and had to get staff to cancel it all as I was only buying the sandwich/chocolate as it was silly not to. I cab only guess it wasn't on the system at the time or the wrong one. I think I had the non-protein variant that someone had put back on the wrong shelf.

Didn't get offered a Pizza cutter, like others have found the Dirty Fries had been demolished from the shelves and that was at 3.45pm !
I was in Aldi today and found they'd started selling their own version of Dirty Fries for £1.99 - will be trying them later X)
I tried the Aldi ones a few weeks back, were alright but literally didn't see/taste any bacon on them...
Thanks also DCX, love the Bacon on the dirty fries, so looks like M&S for me
I had the m&s ones last night, very similar to the aldi ones, didn't really notice any bacon on them. So the Aldi ones are better value for about the same thing.
Saw this post - told 9 year old - went to get pizza deal - dirty fries in stock , great deal, can't wait to eat it

They're very nice - crispy and cheesy but as dcx says, they could do with more bacon!

Hoping they will let you swap out the wine for a soft drink if wanted? Although even if we don't want the wine it's still a good deal
Common sense would suggest that no restaurant will ever force anyone to drink alcohol... Lots of people don't drink, and what if two 16 year olds use one of these vouchers to go on a date?
A restaurant will be happy to give you £0.10 of coke rather than a £2 glass of wine.

You'd think, right? But sometimes they are super rigid about this stuff. But I did suspect they would let you, as like you say a glass of coke barely costs the, anything.
Thanks Op, I used the code to buy 2x "2 nights short break voucher", got £50 off made it £75 for 2 nights B&B for 2 persons.

...telling me to move on just makes me laugh at you for having an opinion that does not agree with your own.
That sentence makes no sense.
I'm telling you to move on because I can only conclude that you'd express such an opinion out of wanting to draw attention to yourself, which you've managed very successfully.
Even with Zizzi's best offer of 40% off all food, the equivalent meal would be over £17, so to get a reasonable 3 course meal with a glass of wine for £8.60 each is unarguably an impressive deal.

Seems not everyone agrees with you, and I don't need to draw attention to myself, you are doing that for me by disagreeing with me, which is fine, as I said not everyone here agrees with you...including myself.

I could just as easily have told you to move on for having an opinion, I am not that childish.

They literally have these sorts of offers on permanently - you'd be a fool to ever pay full price in a pizza express.
Agreed but this is a nice offer for a little meal - £7 each at most for a main isn't too bad.
£7 each? I think its 10ish

I thought a main is about £14 at most so with one main at that price and a free main it would be about £7 I thought?

So if u dont dribk wine what could i get instead?
There's normally a non alcoholic alternative. cant quote you what they are as I'm not in work today.
There is usually an option for two 500ml bottles of IPA - very nice stuff it is too...
The Butchers Block Red wine is pretty poor. I had one glass and on Friday and opened something else instead. Okay if you don't mind vinegar.
These deals used to be good when they first started. The standard has gradually got worse though.
Or go to a crown carvery for £4.29. All you can eat veg !
Meanmum
Ice cream is £4 a tub but 2 for £7 - so 2 meal deals for £19.

Anyone taking advantage of the above ice cream offer in the meal deal check your Sparks card offers too as mine had 20% off on ice cream. Plus I also had 20% off coated chicken and one of the mains is chicken tenders in breadcrumbs which qualifies for that offer.

Incorrect, minimum spend total is £100. You get the £50 room rate when you spend a minimum of £50 in the restaurant. It's not based on the number of persons.
I am correct.. The price is £100... My response said "based on" as in giving an example.. sort your life out saddo... If all you can do is troll around looking to cherry pick you need to find a hobby ! Also when you cherry pick get it right !!

Why the insults?

You were wrong, and are still wrong. I was just clarifying the deal is not based on two sharing.

So please keep your insults to yourself.

No luck in Bolton, heat added anyway:D
Make your own . Tastes much better. Not full of ar$eholes and ear holes.
In Coventry, bought three, thanks, OP. Left one Jalfrezi, about 4 Tikka Masalas, and there's more of the (less popular!) Kormas.

Tesco Finest Indian Meals with Pilau Rice 450g are the best they do currently on offer until 11th July at 3 for £6.00 originally £3.50
(These sadly I believe will will be the £2.30 variety also currently 3 for £6.00 but really NOT very nice at all)
Unlikely to be in many stores.
I'm afraid the finest range are 2 for £6 ... not 3.

Yes of course your right. Just I no longer buy their Indian Meals.

FYI The exchange for the onion rings is the frozen corn on the cobs
evenmorehonestjon376
No splinters in my ass but I agree with both sides on this healthy debate.
I'll buy this but the pizza & garlic bread will accompany a salad, the onion rings with low fat quorn burgers & salads, the wedges with whatever & the ice cream as a pud or treat, its not in the contract to eat it all in one go is it?!
Same here, we wouldn't eat it all as one meal it would be mixed and matched with other meals.

We did the last one which was a box of southern fried chicken, corn on the cob, onion rings, French fries and ice cream.

Chicken was served with salad
Corn on the cob with grilled chicken and salad
Onion rings were used with a few other meals to bulk them out a bit so just 2 or 3 each
There's still half a bag of French fries in the freezer
I admit I did eat the ice cream by myself
My local co op run out of onion rings so we got corn on the cobs subbed, improved the meal deal in my eyes! No idea how to find out if you can sub them in any store, but if you can that should please anyone looking to be healthier

Why do people have to make snide comments, but a family with not a lot of money, would be a god send, once a month a meal like this is OK all the time, then it's a problem.
The problem is that "people with not a lot of money" are being enticed with cheap junk food. It would be really easy for the Co-op (and other supermarkets) to offer deals like this but with much healthier options, but they don't - they are contributing to the obesity crisis. My wife works with people on lower incomes/benefits, who need help with their weight - and one of their main complaints is the price of "healthy" foods.
I'd love to see a healthy options £5 meal deal once in a while - it's not impossible.
Healthy and fresh food is not expensive. Poor decisions/shopping habits and laziness in cooking are to blame. You can buy a bag of carrots, parsnips, potatoes, pasta and sauces, tins of beans, bread for next to nothing and make several meals from them for under £5.

Yeah I get that - I'm not disputing the fact that you can buy cheap veg and make your own healthy meals. My issue is more around these offers on junk food ready meals and so on, and the heavy promotion of unhealthy options. My local co-op has plenty of fresh fruit and veg, and other healthy choices, but pretty much every "promotion" or offer is for chocolate, sweets, junk food, crisps, etc...
I just wish that once in a while they'd do an equivalent of this £5 meal deal but with healthier ingredients - sweet potato wedges, quorn, low fat burgers/sausages, frozen yoghurt/sorbet, etc...

Usually wait for the Bogof deal. But just had a CALABRIA BURGER and fries which works out at £6.79 with discount. It was excellent and highly recommended, accompanied by a glass of tap water.

A large beer costs more than that!

Actually they've just reviewed their menu... and a pint of Peroni is now a very reasonable £4.50... it used to be around £6

More co-op healthy options:p: I love my diet. I can eat anything I want as long as it doesn't make me fat!

Lol! This is pretty decent to be fair - will easily feed 2 people. And it does include salad (1 of your 5-a-day!). :)

Cold from me personally. 5 deals in the entire south west England and 3 of those are in Bath.
TGI Friday - The £15.99 liberty menu offered in this deal isn't as good as their own Manhattan menu (same price but you only get half a rack instead of a full rack of ribs) and the cheaper starters, so always check their own website to see if they have a better offer on directly with them.
Otherwise, its a great deal for getting a cheap meal out :)

I bet there would be more food though, these just didn't look like much food for a tenner :)
Our local Chinese takeaways charge £20 plus for their meals for 2 deals so I guess it depends where you live. Round here it's a good deal despite the prawn toasts not being included :-(
Had a look today and it's really not that great. far better to get a 'meal for 2' from your local chinese IMHO. It might be a few quid more but you will get lots more food. If it had wine then it would be o.k.

The usual meal deal is meal for 2, side and pudding plus wine so this doesn't seem great value to me, not voting either way.

nvq level 1 microwave food. Honestly though, check out your local italian restaurants - normally cheaper and better quality food and your money is kept in the local community 8)
True, but to be fair,it's not just Bella Italia.
Will be same if you go to pubs like Harvester etc.
Good saving if you like to eat there but I find Bella Italia's food is dreadful.
Go to Bella Italia often and always use the vouchercloud app, good savings to be had :)

is it me 4pc 2 dips £5.99 ... 8 pc 4 dips £14.99 ... would it not be cheaper to get 2x 4pc meal for £11.98 instead of £14.99

yeah but you won't get the large popcorn 2 extra fries and 2 large side orders so a few pound more and you get a lot extra
hass123
- 4 mini fillets (bigger than you'd think - think twice the size of the mini fillet that goes in the mini fillet burgers, in which case they should really be called 'medium fillets' since the ones that are included with the standard fillet/zinger/stacker burger are bigger) plus popcorn chicken (plus the usual meal stuff including regular fries, reg drink and dips). - 8 mini fillets plus large popcorn chicken, 4 regular fries, 2 sides, drink bottle and 4 dips, - 12 mini fillets plus large popcorn chicken, 4 regular fries, 2 large sides, drink bottle and 4 dipsThey've replaced the 'for one' boneless banquet meal with the 4pc and the sharing deluxe boneless feast with the 8pc and 12pc.

plus they still do the boneless banquet - current kfc employee

their the same size as the mini fillets in the burgers
Large popcorn chicken with the 8 and 12 piece don't seem to be mentioned, that's why 8 piece is more expensive than 2 4pc, you also get 4 fries with the 8pc as opposed to 2 with 2 4pc.

You get extras with the 8pc, but yeah I normally go on my own to munch at KFC and sometimes try new stuff like this (also have a £5 off colonels club reward so can't go wrong with getting this for 99p 8) )
