I bought this for my Sony HXV20, was delivered today. Was previously using a Samsung evo with adapter, which worked perfect. The adapter on this memory card is that flimsy that i'll need to bodge something up as it must bend inside the memory card slot inside the camera.

Not a deal breaker of course, and most won't suffer this issue, just a tidbit of info.

As a rule of thumb decent write speed of about 90mbps costs about £3 per gb

I have a 64Gb one of these and it's the only one which will work with my dashcam due to the speed.

I would go for this in a flash if it were an automatic. I would imagine that the good price on these is because they can't sell manuals and have them in stock.

A friend of mine has one of these as a company car and he hates it. Not the end of the world on a 2 year term, but 4 years is a long time to be stuck with a car if you don't get on with it, or if you have a change of circumstances. Not bad though if you're happy to tie yourself in for such a length of time.

My friend has a C class- loves it and has been very reliable so far
Just to add to the list of people who paid off finance early. It was all very straight forward, no hassle at all. Got my car through Drive the Deal and they were great, all happened exactly as advertised.
Othen you are getting confused beween PCP and PCH. It certainly is possible to do what multiple people are all stating.
PCP is not a rental. It is a purchase agreement with a deferred balloon payment. This can be settled at any time and contributions towards this by the lender or manufacturer will NOT be reclaimed. As a car dealer I know this for a fact. As previously stated the majority of buyers do not settle early so the interest charged compensates for the contribution. Those who can settle early however benefit.

I don't see why this would make any difference. I've received manufacturer …I don't see why this would make any difference. I've received manufacturer discount on a PCP deal (Ford) but actually went on to complete the whole deal paying off the ballooon payment....but I could have paid off all monies owing at any time during the contract...you just ask for a settlement figure from the finance company and pay it off. T

Thank you for that. I'm still not convinced it would work with a PCP: If I rent a £25,000 car under a PCP (so I never own the car) and get a £5,000 deposit contribution, then I decide I don't want to rent the car the day after I drive it away and pay the finance company what I owe for the rental plus what the car would be worth in 3 years' time - will I will still be allowed to keep the £5,000? I can see that might work with a HP agreement where the car is being used to secure the loan, but not under a rental plan like a PCP.
Perhaps I'm just too old fashioned.

Okay, but you could also build an incredible tree house, commission some artwork, hold an incredible party, visit 10 countries around the world, and STILL have a car that does all the same things as the Mercedes in a similar way.

It's just a very big price for car + prestige + comfort? When you could get car + x, y, z...

I mean you could get a car AND full train to be a pilot, or you could get a slightly better car.

My life isn't mediocre - I have a feeling you have maybe forgotten how to live and have fun if you think that round the world trips etc are mediocre! Us average folk do a hell of a lot with £26k!!!

It's sad to see the AMG badge getting so devalued with crap like this.

Proper AMG cars are phenomenal.

They clearly saw just how well BMW was doing with sticking M-Sport badges and body kits on their diesel company cars.

I do love the jealousy of some people on here. People dont like … I do love the jealousy of some people on here. People dont like Merc/audi/BMW drivers when they are pottering about in their rusty pug because they cant afford something nice.Drive a decent car like the Audi A4 (or A5), or Merc SLK/C-class/E-class and you will see why those of us who can afford it choose to spend a few quid more on quality. Love my Merc, it's beautiful to drive or look at, and I DO stop and let people out, probably more than most in their cheapo cars.Driving a decent car doesnt make you an idiot (although I admit SOME are) it just means you can afford it, most of the time because you have worked hard for what you have. Don't like it? Get the bus with the rest of the benefit claimants.

That's probably the same people, who take extra shifts to buy discounted new Chevrolet Spark and drive it at 65mph in the right lane on their way to Tesco, because someone posted 50p off toilet paper deal.

Er, so why did you buy it?

Where it is built is pretty irrelevent. Its German designed and spec'd.

I largely agree but it can be an eye opener for the brand-addicted who seem to think that anything built in Germany is good and anything from elsewhere poor. Not true of course: most Mercedes and many other German cars are mediocre at best. M-B are still recovering from a period of awful quality and many of their vehicles are, frankly, poor by comparison with others in their sectors. In the UK at least it's capped by a pretty poor dealer network too (overpriced and poor customer service). It's probably true to say that only the S Class has been consistently ahead of the game but you still have to use that dealer network.

Back to the post - it really isn't a 'deal' for the reasons I gave earlier: good luck to the OP but the heat this has collected is naive and ridiculous.

The German brands are masters at this.As for those addicted to 'German' cars, where do you think this is built? Last time I looked at C-Class (some years ago) it was built in South Africa!
