I've used Firmware Finder on Honor 9 and Mate 9 without any issues mate.

I ordered it (the O2 deal although I'm on EE) and cancelled the sim contract over the phone on the day I collected it from my local Currys. O2 said that I shouldn't be charged anything. The phone itself is pretty good from a few days impression. EE sim works perfectly. Topcashback is still tracking with a payment due in 3 weeks.

Was anyone able to cancel straight away and get the tcb tracked as well ?

I asked this question in store they said all phones are unlocked and you can use any SIM network in the phone. Really what I'm saying is that all of carphone warehouse phones are unlocked regardless if they are bought with a SIM or not. Hope this helps anyone.

This is so not worth the original price. It is only a mid range phone …This is so not worth the original price. It is only a mid range phone after all with a Snapdragon 650. This should have been the price from thf beginning and then it would have been nice. Now that ut is the perfect price HOT. You cant compare Xiaomi phones or any other Chinese phones with these as these have support all over the world and Xiaomi leaves you to luck. So HOT for one of the best Snapdragon 650 phones at one of the best prices.

Nout wrong with Snapdragon 650
looks good, but had a bad experience with motorola phones.. owned the moto x style and the moto z, both developed a fault with the usb port, and i was unable to charge or transfer any of my data.
...or £209 plus £15 for first month if you take out a rolling contract (can be a little hassle cancelling according to others though didn't have any trouble myself on a different phone), which makes it a lot cheaper than the G5S Plus whose only advantage would seem to be a slightly larger screen.

Not buying Moto again though.

I have a Samsung s3 and a 1st gen moto G. Samsung is 6 months newer had it for 2 years now. So this makes the moto 2.5 years old. The difference between how they have both stood the test of time is outrageous. Samsung is horribly slow, laggy, scuffed and marked, screen is cracked. Moto G is soldiering on almost as good as day 1. And I use the moto more than the Samsung.
Looks really good!
Don't forget the karate chop and shake actions!
Had this phone a few months and v happy with it. Like mentioned the front facing speakers are great! At first i thought it was too big but you soon get used to it.

They rated the Z5 the best camera when it came out, but it's far from that ! The camera on the Motorola, from camera samples I've seen, appears to be better than average in good lighting, and average for a high megapixel sensor in low light.

dxomark simply measures the quality of the lens and sensor. Not the post processing results
Have this phone and it's great . pure Android and premium feel. Love the wiggle of the wrist to activate the camera and the karate chop for the light. I find the camera actually to be very good. Its fast it's big and it comes with a 25w charger that charges super quick. Battery life is OK. But not terrible but I'd say manageable. The front facing speakers are very good. I'm very happy with it although finding a case was a bit of a chore(no official one from moto) . Ended up with the i-blason case. Not gonna say what i got it for from the eBay 20% deal the other month but i would have happily paid this. Especially given that you get the 2 years with JL

I've still got my Motorola Moto g (1st generation). It's been a cracker of a phone but now I'm looking at getting a newer version. I'm on payg and when I bought it a couple of years ago I paid £90 for it. Any idea's of any good deals for around the £100 mark? I'm on virgin network but not bothered if I have to get it unlocked.
From experience, they ship direct from China to multiple countries so unsurprising UK sales team don't know what's coming.

Received my Moto X 2014 yesterday.. not bad turnaround!
The phone had a few software updates.. and I am up to 5.1 now.. I believe 6.0 is around the corner! Very nippy and smooth.. and the Samsung Adaptive Fast Charger seems to work! Bonus!
Also contemplating if I should use it naked.. never done it before but the whole point of leather was to use it naked.. it is quite thinner than the pictures.. I am just nervous about the screen.. as there were reports of easily cracked screens when it was initially released.. might use it with a screen protector but no case as the red leather looks and feels amazing!

I used the phone only for a short while as it was updating to Marshmallow ... feels awesome to be upto date (esp since I have had a S3 since release and samsung updates are crap and slow).Even though I used it for a short while I got used to the size pretty fast so when i went back to the S3 I started laughing at how small it was lol. Great phone with fast updates cant wait to start using it. My Mrs has the Moto X 2nd Gen so its pretty much that just a lot Bigger and Pure android ... no complaints yet apart from Motorola's Black Friday "Sales" not being much of a sale but more of a stunt lol.i have the phone so I dont mind ... atleast it gives other the chance to own this awesome phone. You'll love it but I think you know that anyways lol.

Shame about only having 25gb left, mine is moving between places in China at the moment but my expectations are being raised by people getting them within 24hrs!!!

Went to Grainier games and held one last week, even stuck it in my pocket, felt perfect. Their trade-in was £235 still so if I hate it nowt lost.

I appreciate that phones have moved on but this 'flagship' was being benchmarked against much higher priced phones at the time so, for the price it's a lot of phone imo.

Hope I'm not disappointed but after my last Chinese import that had naff battery power, overheated with steady use and bricked itself with an official update it's not got much to live up to.
