When it comes to ice cream, you should be comparing weight (g) rather than volume (ml) or you will just end up getting better value air.

For this Magnum ice cream, the density is given as 67 g/100 ml meaning the total weight is 440ml × 67g/100ml = 295 g and so the price per weight is 67p/100g.

For this Ben and Jerry's, with a density of 83g / 100ml, you get 500ml × 83g/100ml = 415g of ice cream with a much better price per weight of 60p/100g.

For another example, check out this big box full of air which might look extremely cheap compared to the previous two with a price per volume of 10p/50ml. However, it has a density of just 48g / 100ml (this needed some maths using the nutritional information because they don't publish it) so a total weight of 480g and subsequently a price per weight of 41p/100g.
Mmmmmm

The raspberry pi is not complicated, just think of it as a mobile phone with more usable ports or a mini single board computer. Yes it runs on linux primarily but the sd-card images provided are ready to go.

Yeah, it's mainly been used for Retro Pi using a 128gig image I found but I also used it as a great media centre for a long time and a pretty shoddy Google Assistant using my PS3 camera for a Mic and Googles SDK Ps, don't buy an unknown brand of amp like Onkyo, stick with known brands like Sony and Bush

The NES was a commercial flop here in the UK so all of this fake nostalgia for it when hardly anybody in the UK owned one during that era is most peculiar.

I was born in 86 and grew up on a NES, all my mates had one too.

Dont know what cave you grew up in but it definitely was not a flop
dmoore815 h, 59 m ago

And the fake nostalgia surrounding the NES? What a ridiculous comment.

Now that's a "ridiculous comment". Nostalgia for a product that proportionately few people actually owned in the UK and much else of Europe is indeed ridiculous. People having the warm glow of nostalgia for a product that existed back in their childhood despite them, in common with most other people in the Continent, never having originally owned the product. That's mental!

In the days of 8-bit gaming it was all about home computers (Spectrum, C-64, etc) and to some extent the Sega Master System. Those owning a NES were very much in the minority.Atari VCS/2600 excepted, consoles didn't become the main attraction in the UK until the arrival of the 16-bit Sega Mega Drive and even in that instance there were plenty of people playing on Amiga and Atari ST home computers. Until Game Boy and SNES arrived Nintendo weren't that big a deal at all in the UK.

May not have been as popular as the home computers-I myself had an Amiga 1200 (not at the same time obviously), but I certainly wouldn’t call the NES a flop. I remember having quite a few friends at school that I was able to swap games with.

They taste the same as that vile nail biting stuff. I have quite long nails but it does remind me that I need to stop biting them. It Def smells nicer than the plain ones but definitely stays on your hands for quite a while (I know this because I nibble)
