So I’ve been watching ticket prices for a few year as been usa in 2012/2016 & again July 2018. Dec 15th Disney not only done 14 days at the price of 7 but also offered 25% off, this meant their 14 day £399 ticket went down £100!(2017 costs) Then ticket sites such as OAT ETC reduced their bundles costs. OAT are always cheapest but not ABTA Registered, pay but credit card & problem solved. At the moment they the lowest they have been for 2018, they are £576 (Disney/universal 14 day) use MSE5 to lower it to £571. If Disney do the 25% off it will possibly be new year but they are saying it’s not going to happen (I emailed them & a couple of other providers) however I think the base cost will go back up to the usual 2018 14 day price of £419 then less 25% so the Disney/universal combo will be approx £565 (on OAT) I’m hanging out til the new year to see what happens - good luck all! I’ll post again if I find a better deal x

Looking at the £400 14 day Disney tickets for 2018, the 2017 ones went down to around £280 around Xmas 2016.Might not happen, but as we're off to Florida in April it's worth waiting a month or two.

I go in April 2018 and looking for a good deal. Where did these tickets go on sale cheap last December time?

Thankyou!
Im not voting either way as these are only OK for someone travelling before the end of 2017, but just for refference we bought our tickets on 28/12/16 for use this summer and it was £491 per adult and £467 per child for these same tickets. There has been a lot happen with the exchange rate and of course the yearly price rises, but the ticket price for 2018 seems a huge increase.

The volcano drop slides are awesome. Get there early and also look in the lazy river as you will find lost tapu tapu bands and you can use them to double/triple dip as long as you have a pocket. They won't let you on the ride if they see more than one.
Is Volcano Bay Open Year-Round?

Yes. You can experience it during the hot summer months and the cool winter days. Virtually all of the pools and Orlando water parks are heated during cooler times. Occasionally, the Orlando water parks close because of exceptionally cold days in the winter months, but they are few and far between.
October is the best month, never ever ever ever go in November, we made that mistake once, we've been to Orlando nine times and the November holiday was horrendous, because of local school holidays and thanks giving parades etc the parks are far too busy. On one of the days we qued for three hours for one ride then left, the only fastpasses we could get were for after 6pm.
Universal doesn't close its water park (other than for refurbs) but they WILL close on colder days

Went last year and pre-purchased tickets for Universal/Sea World/Busch Gardens, as we were only in Orlando for 7 days before travelling down to the Gulf Coast for the second week. Decided to pay on the day for Disney Magic Kingdom and it was 110 dollars pp for the one park. Don't forget to add parking costs to each of the parks, which personally I think is outrageous given the ticket costs.

Thats a deal, not just any old fare you can find. You'd be able to get this deal cheaper if I flew via Dublin or France or something, perhaps get the Megabus from London to Barcelona then a flight from Spain to Orlando... just because the price is low doesn't make it a good deal.

Based on that idea you could hitchhike to london or manchester etc, or stowaway on a boat across to ireland.. seriously, the megabus and taking an age to get to point B is ok as a single person but as a family it just isnt realistic.. ps, your jfk deal comparison was just a flight and not a package holiday for a family.

True, but if the price is low, the hotel is well rated you don't have to "get a megabus from London to Barcelona" first to get there like you suggest, then it might, just might, be a good deal.

It sounds like you haven't actually done any research into the costs for flights, hotels, or read reviews on the hotel and had a look at it's location. You've just thrown an off the bat comment saying the deal is cold because it doesn't suit you. Please explain why you think this hotel is "worse than Travel Lodge". Did you reach that decision because you have stayed there, because you don't like it's name, or for some other reason? And how can we forget the "Southern Airport" comment - I thought Heathrow was in the South as well?

The FAB 5 ticket from Floridatix covers those 5 parks and is £187. After cashback, it will be £172.98. I can't find anywhere else that offers this ticket. Otherwise, there is the Flexticket Plus, which includes the same 5 parks plus Wet & Wild, but this is around £210.
The annual pass purchased direct from Universal can offer exceptional value, although it is far from being the cheapest option.
The key benefits were that it includes FastPass from 4pm, and Valet Parking.

We stayed in a villa so the kids were able to enjoy the pool all morning, or do the malls, and then hit the park(s) mid-afternoon and use the FastPass. Trying to spend all day in the park(s) in the summer heat, and humidity, is seldom a pleasant experience, especially if you have to queue. Knowing that there was no pressure to "do every ride" led to a pleasant relaxing experience. We had hoped to get there again, within the year, which would have made the pass an absolute bargain. Unfortunately we didn't get pack in that time, but I think the pass was still a reasonable deal.

It isn't an option for all, and it really depends on what your family wants, all of us had done Disney, and the only real interest was Universal.

YMMV, but worth considering if you only want Universal.

BTW there are other benefits, check the web site.

Our friends own a villa in Davenport that they rent out, if you're genuinely interested send me a message.

Cost is £350 a week in peak period, £300 in mid season, or £250 a week off season. Villa sleeps a maximum of ten and has enough rooms and bathrooms to comfortably sleep two families of four (for an example) if you want to share you accomodation with friends or family and half your costs.

We're in Florida now. Islands of Adventure is really busy no matter what day you go (same for Hollywood Studios). This makes sense as these are the two parks with the best thrill rides.

We turned up to Islands of Adventure at 8am and avoided Harry Potter as we did that on our first visit. If you do this you can pretty much walk on every single ride in the park, more than once, as everyone has rushed to the top of the park for HP. All of he HP rides had 60 minute plus queues, even at that time. I wouldn't waste an hour queuing for flight of the Hippogriff either, it's very very short and exactly the same as Goofy's Barn Stormer in Magic Kingdom or Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster in Universal Studios.

The only really busy ride in Universal Studios seems to be Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, with queues pretty much always an hour long (not helped by the fact it's the first ride you come to when you enter the park!). Men n Black and Simpsons can get busy, but queues are regularly around the 30 minute mark, so if you see an hour long queue go and find another ride and then come back a bit later.

Don't waste money on the universal fast passes either. They are an absolute rip off and can only be used once per ride anyway. Plan your day well and you won't need them at all.

Go in the afternoon, lunch time onward, for your first leisurely visit. Do as many of the rides as you can that have the shortest queues. Do at least one long queue. Then go at opening for your second trip (allow half an hour to park your car and get to the gates) and aim to do all the rides you avoided due to long lines the first time. This technique will guarantee you a stress free visit to the parks and maximise your time and value from your tickets.
Try Alamo get cheapest2door economy
They always are short of these then have to upgrade you first in line no queue

Hello, I own the company that produces Eat and Play Card and I take offence to "scam" comments. Yes, there are coupons available and Eat and Play Card has been designed to help people avoid the hassle of hunting for and managing coupons - that's the beauty of it. All our discounts are % and thus generally lead to considerably greater savings than the typical fixed $ discounts found in most coupons, plus we have some merchants you won't find anywhere else, including coupons. Eat and Play Card has been available since January and we have yet to receive one similar complaint - we have a free phone number on our website as well as a contact us email to make it easy for customers to reach us. Needless to say I'm surprised by your experience whereby some restaurants refused it. I'm sorry your experiences were less than great and I would like to address them by reaching out to our participating merchants to ensure it doesn't happen to another person. Can you please provide the names of the venues that did not honour the discount?
What a scam. Most of the offers are the same if not better as what you get in every lobby of every hotel in orlando. Then some of the restaurants refused to even honor it. This card sticks. Wish I could get my money back.
